Rijo Stables is an educational centre, training and trade stable for horses and ponies. Rijo Stables is run by Riny and Jolanda Rutjens and is located in Weert, a place in the south-east of The Netherlands. At Rijo Stables horse driving clinics and courses are organised on a regular basis and horses are trained for the driving sport. We also have horses and ponies for sale regularly. Rijo Stables also forms a home base for Riny Rutjens, who is currently active in the Dutch driving sport driving pairs. He has been Dutch champion multiple times and achieved the world title in 2003. Between competitions Riny trains horses, gives shows and clinics and besides this he is also active as trainer. That the horse sport is a family happening at Rijo Stables is apparent because also Rodinde, the daughter of Riny and Jolanda, is actively involved in the sport.
